He was predeceased by: his brother Nimmie Lynn; his parents, Marion Franklin (M. F.) and Nellie Gertrude Dodson; and his grandparents, Nimrod, Arrettia Dodson, Lee and Huldah Mae Horton Hardin.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Dodson; his daughters, Le Anne Schilling (Clyde) of Rockwall and Kerry Martin of Royse City; his stepchildren, Dennis Dodds (Holly) of Greenville, Lara Magoun (Ron) of Sherman and Loren Barr (Grace) of Bonham; his grandchildren, Chase Martin of Irving, Amanda Mendoza (Josh) of Greenville, Alison Pike (Zeb) of Greenville, Kris Barr of Lubbock, Kaitlin Taft (Greg) of Bonham and Liam Magoun of Sherman; his great grandchildren, Madison Mendoza, Caleb, Waylon, Wrenlee Taft and Hazel Harwell-Barr; and his brothers, Charles Dodson (Ann) of Ruidoso and David Dodson (Wanda) of Rockwall.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 8:30 AM and at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (610 S Goliad St, Rockwall, TX 75087).
In honor of Glynn's life and legacy, donations may be made to a charity of one's choosing.
