She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bacchus Stuart and Winnie Wiggs Stuart; her brother Paul Bacchus Stuart; her husband Glen Roy Gurley; and her son Stuart Richmond Gurley.

She is survived by: her brother Ben Rutledge Stuart; her daughter Debbie Sparks (Bynum Sparks) of Midland, Texas; her daughter-in-law Glenda Low Gurley of Bagwell, Texas; her daughter Glenda Fodge (Jeff Fodge) of Heath, Texas.; her grandchildren, Heather (Eric Marecle), Jennifer (Josh Rabe), Amanda Dupree, Lindsay (Josh Essery), Matthew Fodge (Kailee) and Natalie (Rolando Davila); and her great grandchildren, Joshua Rabe (Jordan), Kaitlyn, Jonathan, Kimberly, Justice Rabe, Madelynn (Max Sivalls), Tate Marecle, Gage Simms, Levi Hartnett, Noah, Ethan, Emma Jean Essery, Millie Fodge, Camila and Olivia Jean Davila.
