He is survived by: his children, Jim Palmer (Helen) of McKinney, David Smith of Sachse, Vicki Lewis (Keith) of Garland, Steven Smith (Sharon) of Elmo and Laura Eppler of St. Paul; and his brothers, Bill, Donnie, John and Jim. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren with another on the way, 1 great grandson and numerous nephews and nieces.
