He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert John Nelson, Sr. (Bob) and Geneva Nelson Swope; and his brother William K. Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Edie; his daughters, Heather Lovell, Amanda Prock and McKenzie Hammontree; his sons-in-law, Clayton Prock and Austin Hammontree; his grandchildren, Rylan Jace Nelson, Kyder Wade Prock, William Thomas Lopez, Kaisley Layne Prock and Riley Belle Hammontree; his sister RuthAnn Thorne; his brother-in-law Phillip; his nephew Blake; and his sister-in-law Lori Cox Chapman (Billy).
