He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Pugh and Horace Clair Cram; his children, Cheryl Ann Cram and Robert Charles Roth; and his grandchild Lauren Cram.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Jane Hollinger; his children, James Joseph Cram, Joseph Michael Cram and Judith Lynn Ryals; and his grandchildren, Ashley Lawrence, Matthew Cram, Ryan Cram, Jeremy Roth, Kristen Buzbee, Nicholas Gilbert, Stephen Gilbert, Hunter Ryals and Heather Ryals. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

He served with honor and dedication, and his contribution to the Navy was highly valued by his superiors and colleagues.
