She was predeceased by: her parents, Varney Preskitt and May Elizabeth Preskitt; her husband Ralph Ruminer; her brother Stanley Preskitt; and her sister-in-law Mary Preskitt.

She is survived by: her daughters, Joy Kiteley of Rockwall and Judy Jones (Elvin Jones) of Jenks. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and 4 great-great-great grandchildren.
