It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Thurman Maness of Rockwall, Texas, who passed away on August 26, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peggy Ann Maness (Williams) and Thurman Theodore Maness. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Maness of Forney; his brother Mark L. Maness of Brinkley, Arkansas.; his niece Samantha Dyer (Matthew); and his nephew Sean Maness (Kayla).
