With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney Wayne Schwarz of Rockwall, Texas, born in Taylor, Texas, who passed away on May 30, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris William Lee Schwarz and Gladys Minnie Schwarz (Merkord); and his grandparents, William, Hattie Schwarz, Fritz and Martha Merkord.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Louise Schwarz of Fate, TX; his children, Rowland W. Schwarz of Grand Prairie, TX, Brian D. Schwarz (Jennifer) of Knoxville, TN, Kevin M. Schwarz of Grand Prairie, TX and Angela R. Schwarz of Fate, TX; his granddaughters, Laura and Autumn; his great grandchildren, Piper and Evy; his brother Rick Schwarz (Jane) of Thorndale, TX; and his uncle Bill Schwarz of Austin, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.
