He was predeceased by: his parents, William Matney (Bill) and Aileen Bell; and his brother Randall Matney. He is survived by: his wife Jean Lindsey; his daughters, Alicia Perry (Jessie), Tammy Matney and Kyla McDade (Kenny); his grandchildren, Austin Perry, Elizabeth Perry, Kaitlyn Canales, Justin McGuiness and Wyatt McDade; and his sister Sharon Humphrey.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rest Haven Memorial Park (2500 TX-66, Rockwall, TX 75087).
