She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Perry Prestridge and Lillie Elaine Bassett Prestridge; and her spouse Russell Whittaker, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Davidson; her stepdaughter Shannon; and her sisters, Sharon Traylor (Louis), Linda Perot (Curtis) and Cathy Bratton (Aubrey). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
