He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Anna (Shawver) and Frederick T. H. Whatling. He is survived by: his wife Alma Whatling; and his children, Marla Phan (Hong), David Whatling (Darla) and Fred Whatling (Irene). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
