As Gene departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gene may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gene leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arlen Cox and Ethel Cox; his brother Jerry; his wife Sherry Cox; and his children, Vickie (Jacky Reese) of Spade, TX. and Yancy (Laura Spivey) of Duncan, OK.. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a crew of great friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the church which Gene loved so much.
