He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Thompson and Addie Lee Cross Thompson; and his wife Gracie Mae Jones. He is survived by: his children, Kellie Brown (Robert) of Rosebud, Gwen Mitchell of Rosebud, Mary Thompson of Rosebud, Harriett Thompson of Rosebud, Suzy Thompson of Rosebud, Shedrick Johnson (Linda) of Dallas, Jim Thompson Jr. of Rosebud and Frankie Thompson (Mary) of Rosebud; and his sister Belle Jones (James) of Rosebud. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, three sisters in law, two brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
