He was predeceased by : his parents, Jodie Marek and Elfrieda Frerichs Marek; and his wife Nancy Meier. He is survived by : his children, Steven Marek of Rosebud and Kimberly Marek of Katy; his sister Jo Ann Pemberton of Temple; his stepbrothers, Carroll Wayne Glaser of Rockdale and James Edward Glaser of Cameron; and his grandchildren, Emma Jo Marek and Mason Lee Marek.
