He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulalia Ramirez and Alcario G. Cerda, Sr.; and his sisters, Celia and Irene. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cerda; his children, Anissa, David, Valerie (Ronnie Compean), Isaac, Rebekah, Christiana, Joseph (Laura), Michael, Nydia (Raymond Gutierrez) and Victor; his grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah, Leah, Ezekiel, Joshua, Jordan, Cashus, Alize, Anthony, Caliana, Sadie, Nathan, Liam, Bruce, Angel, Manny, Nate, Michelle, Neveah and Layla; his great grandchildren, Nyelli, Caleb, Emma, Eunice Ivy and Saint; his siblings, Ruben (Martha), Carol, Belinda and Johanna (Claudia) of Houston; his family, Andrea (Efrain Sierra), Amanda (Roy Bermea), Joe Jr. (Mercedes) of Rosenberg, Richmond and Gracie Mottu-Grover; Cailey of Rosenberg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
