He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Fred Bubela and Lucy Krenek Bubela (Ruth Kunz); his siblings, Clarence Bubela and Janet Miculka; and his nephew Larry "Bo" Bubela.

He is survived by : his daughter Melissa; his son-in-law Jonathan Howell of Richmond; his son Ryan; his daughter-in-law Chelsea Bubela of Sugar Land; his stepsons, Darren Kunz (Donna) of Schulenburg and James Kunz of Columbus; his grandchildren, Madison Howell, Ethan Howell, Barrett Bubela and Cora Bubela; his stepgrandchildren, Bryn Kunz, Kristin Trojacek (Tyler) and Christopher Kunz (Kaitlen); his great grandchild Layla Trojacek; his siblings, Frank Bubela (Patsy) of El Campo and Vlasta Faldyn of Columbus; his sister-in-law Joyce Bubela of Columbus; his siblings, Doris Priesmeyer (Daniel) of El Campo and Larry Bubela (Janet) of Hungerford; and his brother-in-law Frank Miculka of East Bernard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
