He was predeceased by: his wife Constance Ruby "Connie" Boyle Beard; and his siblings, Mary Jane Beard Rayner, Austine Beard Filla, Shirley Austin "Buddy" Beard, Jr., Sidney Pierce Beard and Barbara Ann Beard.
He is survived by: his great-niece Laura Christine Holmes (Lisa Lanelle Harris) of Houston; Dustin Lee Turner (Jaimie) of Deer Park, Collin Edward Holmes of Houston, Timmy Paul Harris, Tyson Pierce Harris of Missouri City, Leah Rose Harris of Missouri City, Linda Denise Filla Esch (Ron) of Meadows Place, Nancy Jane Filla Dutton (Robin) of Erie, Eva Dawn Rayner of Baytown and Melanie June Rayner of Baytown. He is also survived by four nieces.
