He is survived by: his wife Gloria Galvan; his children, Jose Galvan Jr. (Delana), Abel Galvan (Melinda) and Iris Galvan; his grandchildren, Gabriel Galvan, Danielle Galvan (Gilbert Rodriguez) and Dominique Matthews (Steven Matthews); his great grandchildren, Mia Gonzales, Mason Rodriguez and Hattie Matthews; his sister Amelia Hernandez; and his sister-in-law Natalie Garza. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the E. P. Compean Funeral Directors (1223 6th St, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Wow Cemetery (1705 Blume Rd, Rosenberg, TX 77471).
