He was predeceased by: his parents, Carey Easterling and Bernice Easterling; his sister Carolyn; his brother-in-law Bill Ethridge; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Ruby Fordtran.

He is survived by: his wife Delois "Dee"; his children, Kevin Neal Easterling and Julie Lauren Easterling; his grandsons, Julian and Jace Wilkerson; his sister Mary; his brother-in-law James Thim; his brother Charles; his sister-in-law Loraine Easterling; his sister Verna; his brother-in-law Tommy Kalszewski; and his brother Ray Easterling. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will only be a graveside service at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville, Texas at 1 p. m. on Tuesday, September 15, with Pastor Wes Cain presiding.
