It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Lozano of Rosenberg, Texas, born in Santa Rosa, Texas, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Maria departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Maria leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Octavio Lozano; her parents, Alfredo Cantu and Estefana Rodriguez; and her sons-in-law, Pedro Sanchez and Manuel Casas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilou Lozano (Julian), Ludivina Lozano, Noemi Lozano (Gregorio Gomez), Milila Sanchez (Abel Sanchez) and Lorena Casas; and her sister Guadalupe Casas. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, as well as other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hernandez Rosenberg Funeral Home (800 4th St, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A rosary was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
