We announce the death of Pedro Antonio Pleites (Rosenberg, Texas), who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 77. Pedro will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Genera H. Pleitez; and his parents, Bernardino Pleitez and Angelina Pleitez. He is survived by: his children, Juan Jose Pleitez (Maria Castillo Pleitez), Carlos Ernesto Pleitez (Rosa Linda Mendez), Marta Pleitez (Pablo Pleitez), Rosa Amelia Pleitez Menjivar (Florentino) and Ana Days Merlos (Oscar); his brothers, Marcelo Pleitez (Mirna Pleitez), Juan Pleitez Montontoya, Arcadio Pleitez Montoya and Gilberto Pleitez Montoya; and his sister-in-law Julia Hernandez. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren as well as other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home (722 Grillo Way, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (514 Carlisle St, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the West Gethsemane Cemetery.
