He is survived by: his wife Kimberley Miles; his parents, James Miles Sr. (Travis) and Gladys Miles Stewart; his sons, Cliffton Franklin (Etavia) of Angleton and Ja'Koreyan Williams of Angleton; his stepson John Dailey; his daughter Jaresha Miles of New Orleans, LA; his stepdaughters, Tiffany Johnson (Julius) and Jontavia Dailey; his siblings, Gay Walker of Houston, Kelly Miles of Houston, Natalie Miles (Jerry) of Houston, Kim Miles of Houston, Jamie Bamba of Houston, Karolyn Stredic of Houston, Jasmine Miles (Genaro) of Houston, Eric Miles of Angleton, Kendron Miles of Angleton, Darren Miles of Houston, Jason Miles (Jill) of Houston, Anthony Miles of Houston and Grayland Judkins (Dianne) of Angleton; his grandmother Lucinda Mills; his close friends, Jerome Davis (Devonda) of Rosharon, Cameron Mitchell of Rosharon and Robert Beasley (Nina) of Rosharon; and his nephews, Denman Sterling and James Townsend. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Missionary Baptist Church (523 N Parrish St, Angleton, TX 77515).
