With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Ann (Dennis) Jones (Rotan, Texas), born in Roby, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 7, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her former husband Johnny Jones; and her parents, Artie Martin and Melba Martin (Parker). She is survived by: her daughters, Tanya Upshaw (Jeff) and Tiffany Pullig (Kent); her grandchildren, Tavey Stevenson (Tanner), Johnna Olson (Kenny), Tadie Nowlin (Tyson), Justin Pullig (Lexi) and Taven Upshaw (Lindsey); her great grandchildren, Tanzlie, Tayzlee, Teddi Kate, Tyslie, Truix and Tate; her husband Olen Dennis; her stepson Kenlee Dennis (Donti); her brother Joe Martin (Kathy); and her sibling's children, David Martin (Judi) and Rebecca Martin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Weathersbee Ray Funeral Home (111 N McKinley Ave, Rotan, TX 79546). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at the Calendar Roby Cemetery.
