We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2025, at the age of 82, Wilber Gruben (Rotan, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Gruben and Vera Gruben; his former wife Carol Ann Gruben; his son Gregory Gruben; and his siblings, Melva Dean Jones, Georgie Upshaw, Vera Ellen McCombs, Laverne Upshaw, Glen Gruben and Charles Gruben.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Gruben; his stepchildren, Beth, David, George, John and Julie Hall; his grandson Clancey Gruben; his great grandchild Waylon Gregory Gruben; his daughter Evette Peterson; his grandchildren, Madison and Gage Peterson; and his brother Bobby Gruben.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (201 N McKinley Ave, Rotan, TX 79546). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
