She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Tanksley and Annie Mae Tanksley; her husband Loe Logan; her siblings, Sarah Blackwell, Ora Vincent, A. B. Blackwell, Troy Tanksley, Monroe Blackwell and James H. Blackwell; her nephew Wendell Samuel, III; and her brother-in-law Rev. Eddie R. Tealer, Sr..
She is survived by: her grandson Marcus Love, Jr.; her daughter Michelle Freeland-Love; her son-in-law Marcus Love, Sr.; her grandson Marcus Love Jr.; and her siblings, Ruby Tealer of Taylor and Alfred Tanksley (Beverly) of Elgin, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
