Thompson; his wife Audrey Ruth Heinemann; his sister Margaret Ann Hanna of Red Rock; his sister-in-law Kathy Moldovan of Arizona; his sibling's children, Michele Walls (Steve), Janine Nemec (Michael) and Chris Schultz; his grandchildren, Daniel Filla (Emily), Travis Nemec (Emily), Mark Nemec (Natalie) and Mikayla Nemec; his great grandchildren, Miles, Morgan Filla, Marie Nemec, Gail Schlecht, Jeff Heinemann and Susan Carpenter (Brian); his grandchildren, Troy Heinemann (Julie), Tera Dickerson (Scott), Nichole Heinemann, Garrett Carpenter (Megan) and Justin Carpenter (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Wade Heinemann, Gage, Laine Dickerson, Crew, Tatum Carpenter and Charlotte Carpenter; his caregivers, Trish, Synmantha and Candace; Curt Heinemann (Debbie).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home (15709 Ranch Rd, Austin, TX 78717). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (473 State Hwy 95, Smithville, TX 78957).
