She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jackson Simmons and Mattie Lee Briley Simmons; her husband Dale Mudd; her daughters, Deborah Mudd and Traci Mudd; her grandchildren, Daniel Jacks, Jonathan Jacks, Sarah Jacks and Sean Mudd; and her siblings, Ray Simmons, James Simmons, Joel Simmons, John Simmons, Juanita Bird and Louise Rosengren.

She is survived by: her caregivers, Donna Petty, Brenda Toner and Katie Sheppard; her daughter Tammi Jacks (Paul Jacks) of Round Rock, Texas; her grandchildren, Tori Miller (Justin Miller) of Deer Park, Texas, Joshua Jacks (Mallory Jacks) of Spring, Texas, Anna Jacks of Round Rock, Kirstin Mudd and Zoie Mudd of Deer Park, Texas; her great grandchildren, Hadlee Miller, Brecklyn Miller and Lincoln Jacks; and her siblings, Karl Simmons of Kerrville, Faye Smith of Houston and Linda Glynn of Pasadena, Texas.. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
