With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Carrillo of Round Rock, Texas, born in San Marcos, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2026 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Torres and Lester Carrillo; and his siblings, Lester Carrillo Jr., Carmen Carrillo, Ophelia Quiroz and David Carrillo.

He is survived by: his wife Rosa Carrillo; his sons, Richard Carrillo (Debra) and Rene Carrillo (Sheila); his siblings, Elizabeth Jasso, Alice Solis, Mary Cavazos, Emeraldo Carrillo (Jovita) and Delia Constancio; his grandchildren, Lauren Collazo, Adrian Carrillo (Olivia), Hannah Carrillo, Noah Carrillo and Lauren Garcia (John); and his great grandchildren, Brody Collazo and Trey Collazo. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
