He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Helen Lyons, Joan Turner Beifuss and Jack Beifuss. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Lyons and Joellen Lyons; his siblings, Nick, Katie and Annie Lyons; and his grandfather Jim Lyons. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins; and all of his friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Grassroot Soccer (https://grassrootsoccer.org), an organization that mentors young people worldwide and celebrates John's love of soccer.
