He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stevenson Starkey (Joe) and Mary Theola Strong; and his nephew Scott Finley (Gabrielle) of Dallas. He is survived by: his children, Joe Starkey (Shanna) of Austin and Shannon Starkey of Austin.
