He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Carter and Margaret Carter; his sisters, Peggy Sue Vivian, Carolyn Jo Osbourne and Gloria Jean Simpson; and his grandson Ash.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Marie Carter; his daughter Courtney Carter; his stepsons, Steven (Chris), Shane (Kirstin), Robert (Samantha) and John (JR); his brother Art (Joyce); his great grandchild Rebecca Clark (Becca); and his friend Richard. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, 10 grandchildren.
