With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mae Dell Jurecek (Rowena, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Wanoreck and Ernestine Kohutek Wanoreck; her husband Charles Jurecek Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Nick Jurecek (Kate), Raymond Jurecek and Matilda Wilde (Ello); and her sibling's children, Mike Jurecek, Shelia Chrisman and Nancy Schwertner.
She is survived by: her children, Mitch Jurecek of Eldorado and Teresa Sturm (Kevin) of Veribest; her grandchildren, Ashley Henrich (Scott) of New Braunsfels, Justin Sturm (Shelby) of Veribest, Josh Jurecek (Anna) of Sonora and Jaakan Jurecek (Aislin Nixon) of Eldorado; her great grandchildren, Clay Henrich, Evan Henrich, Lain Jurecek and Gemma Lacy; and her sister-in-law Connie Jurecek.
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (506 Edward St, Rowena, TX 76875). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
