He is survived by: his wife Gale Celestine-Figueroa; his children, Omar Figueroa (Gladymar) and Kinisa Figueroa; and his grandsons, Jason and Omar Jr. Figueroa. He is also survived by his five brothers and five sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
