He was predeceased by: his parents, Đình Tòng Pham and Thị Vy Vũ. He is survived by: his wife Màu Đinh; and his children, Duyên (Hùng), Hữu (Thanh), Uyên (Sơn), Chuyên (Khánh), Hạnh (Thanh), Hưng (Thảo) and Hòa (Phương). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
