He was predeceased by : his parents, Salvador Palos and Maria Palos (Ledesma); his daughter Jacqueline Palos; and his sisters, Maria "Nena" De Jesus Ortega, Teresa Martinez and Oralia Orson.

He is survived by : his children, Eddie Palos, Jr. (Misty), Eric Palos (Raquel) and Samantha Palos (Derrick Harris); and his siblings, Salvador Palos, Jr., Guadalupe Palos, Elia Montemayor, Hortencia Maximino and Olivia Trevino. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
