It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lee Barrett (Rowlett, Texas), born in Sunnyvale, Texas, who passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Barrett; her parents, Alvie Lewis and Gertrude Mathis; her brothers, Lester of James, WJ and John Alvin Lewis; her grandson Keith Baxter; and her sisters, Winnie Duckworth and Maxine Irvin.

She is survived by: her children, Rick Barrett (Donna), Sandy McCleary and Greg Barrett (Gail); her sister Jo Nell Manley; her grandchildren, Jennifer McCleary, Becky, Paul Thompson, Brittany and Jason Cathey; her great grandchildren, Shaun McCleary, Hailey, Joey Costello, Keeley Thompson, Jayden, Kaitlyn Thompson, Betty Baxter, Victoria Baxter, Bailey Baxter, Claudia Joy and Obie Turner; and her great great grandchildren, Dallon Cooper, Bella McCleary, Zane Ramirez, Ashton Costello and Sadie Costello. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends she loved.
