She was predeceased by: her parents, James Michael Canavan and Helen Sullivan Canavan; and her sons, Robert J. Porter Jr. and James Michael Porter. She is survived by: her sister Claire Hoggard; her brother-in-law William D. Hoggard III; her son-in-law Jeffrey Haack; her children, Kelly Anne Porter (Scott McElwain), Mary Claire Haack, Thomas F. Porter (Michele McKnight) and John D. Porter (Angela Renee); her grandchildren, Marissa Brooke, James Michael, Michael Canavan, Alison Lee Porter and Joseph Weinman; and her great grandchild Gabe Weinman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rowlett (3701 Rowlett Rd, Rowlett, TX 75088). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum Chapel (3900 Rowlett Rd, Rowlett, TX 75088).
