Franklin Schmidt Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 2, 2025, at the age of 91, Franklin Schmidt of Runge, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Schmidt and Elvira Huth Schmidt; his son Franklin Schmidt Jr.; his grandchildren, Jimmy Bingham III, Henry Henkes III and Marsha Alvear; his siblings, Monroe Schmidt Jr. and Mabel Sanders; his brothers-in-law, Joe Rieman and Aubrey Sanders; and his grandson-in-law Christopher Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Belinda Bingham (Jimmy), Melody Brown (Morris) of Beatrice, Henkes (Henry) and Trenton Schmidt; his grandchildren, Samantha Smith (Brandon), Luke Bingham (Nikki), Valarie Armstrong (Keith), Betty Johnson, Morris Brown Jr. (Alexa), Sabrina Gray (Adonis), Randolph Henkes (Ashley), Molly Parks (Jason), Connor Brown, Frank Schmidt (Patricia) and Jermey Korzekwa; and his siblings, Bob Schmidt (Connie), Evelyn Schmidt, Shirley Reiman, Joyce Hotz (Lawrence) and Dolly Holzapfel. He is also survived by 33 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
