It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Grimes (Rusk, Texas), born in Marshall, Texas, who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Doyle Grimes (Pete) and Mary Ruth Grimes (Smith). He is survived by : his wife Pamela Jo Grimes (Maness); his children, Tina Renee Callaway (Shane) of Alto, Phillip Doyle Grimes of Rusk and Jeremy Wayne Grimes of Rusk; his grandchildren, Branton Rodriguez, Peyton Rodriguez, Dakota Grimes (Jenna), Hunter Grimes, Brendan Grimes and Molly Callaway; his great grandchild Oaklee Rodriguez; and his siblings, Sharon Poole (Jerry) of Nacogdoches and Robert Grimes (Ginnie) of Montana.
