It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Emma Horton of Sabinal, Texas, born in Fredericksburg, Texas, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Felix Wilke and Mathilda Ahrens Wilke; her husband Leroy Horton of Sabinal; and her siblings, Alton Wilke, Louis Wilke, Kenneth Wilke and Claribel Hanneman.

She is survived by : her children, Sam Horton (Jackie) of Sabinal and Melanie Foster (Tommy) of Sabinal; her grandchildren, Diana Medina (Sonny) of Sabinal, Carrie Cole (Jason) of Sabinal, Ross Horton of Sabinal and Barbara Horton (Aaron Edwards) of Stephenville; her great grandchildren, Lauren Smith (Will) of Foulden, England, Matt, Shane Medina of Sabinal, Kenneth, Meagan Cole of Sabinal, Trevor Horton of Sabinal and James Edwards of Stephenville; and her siblings-in-law, Wally Hanneman, Leola Wilke and Adeline Wilke Klein.
