He is survived by: his wife Kathy Carter of Sachse, Texas; his stepsons, Sean and Donald Hill of Arlington, Texas; his granddaughters, Violet and Cora of Arlington, Texas; his brother David; his sister-in-law Tammy Carter of Tyler, Texas; his nephews, Will and Jaime Carter of Tyler, Texas; his sister Debbie Carter of Athens, Texas; his siblings' children, Aaron Martin of South Carolina and Aimee; and his nephew-in-law Tom Soldatovic of Destin, Florida..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home - Sachse (2925 5th St, Sachse, TX 75048). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Payne Cemetery.
