He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sanders and Betty Jo Jamison (Parnell); his sister Jean Ann Lisenbee; his grandparents, Garrett C. Pop Sr., Ophelia Parnell (McAfee), Adam and Mae Jamison (Sanders); his uncles, G. C. Parnell, Ben Parnell and Sid Parnell; and his aunt Edora Fald.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Jamison (Buckman) of Saint Jo; his children, Kelly (Keith Matheny) of Plano and Garrett (Corine Jamison) of Dripping Springs, Texas; his grandchildren, Megan Matheny and Madison Matheny; and his sister Linda (Jerry Grigsby) of La Grange, Texas.

He was a member of the Austin Rotary Club, Austin Jaycees, Masonic Lodge, and was the President of the American Heart Association in Austin.
