He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Bartlett and Ruby Milam Bartlett; and his wife Ruth Reichert. He is survived by: his brothers, Joe Harvey Bartlett, Walter Bartlett, Harry Bartlett, Alva Lee Bartlett and Clifford Bartlett; his children, Gary Bartlett (Jane) of Salado, Sue Ellen Slagel of Salado and Melanie Kirchmeier (Bob Roemer) of Salado; his grandchildren, Beau Bartlett of Jarrell, Savannah Hennig (Garrison) of Salado, Lacey Teran (Jose) of Salado, Madison Slagel of Salado, Kayla Langan (Michael) of Belton, Stephen Roemer (Ricki) of Tyler and Cameron Kirchmeier (Sarah) of Salado; and his great grandchildren, Garrison Hennig II, Bella Teran, Asher Teran, Memphis Bartlett, Mayleigh Hennig, Frances Ruth Langan, Parker Roemer, Theo Roemer and Billy Langan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Inn (301 College St, Salado, TX 76571). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (210 S Main St, Salado, TX 76571).
