He is survived by: his wife Pam Thompson of Salado, Texas; his children, Derrick Thompson of Salado and Chelsi Thompson of Salado, Texas.; his siblings, Brenda Everett (Ronnie Everett) of Salado, Texas and Wayne Thompson of Las Vegas; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Rourke (Patrick Rourke) of Belton, Texas, Joe Knight (Debbie Knight) of Belton, Texas and Gary Knight (Vicki Knight) of Belton, Texas; his mother-in-law Marjorie Knight of Belton, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Presli Jo Thompson, Paizli Marie Walker, Paxton Tull Walker and Parker Renee Walker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Salado Cemetery (1430 N Robertson Rd, Salado, TX 76571). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services (5431 US-190, Belton, TX 76513).
