Thomason; his children, Elena Cruz Scioli (Brian), Robert L. Thomason and Renee L. Rose of Columbus, Georgia; and his brother Vernon P. Nettles (Debbie) of Hamlet. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
