She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Edward Smith; and her granddaughter Amy Lee McAdoo Smith. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Smith (Penny) and Tracy Ruzicka (Dennis); and her grandchildren, Cody McAdoo (Paige) and Jolynn Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in her name to Grace Church Salado.
