She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Marshall Mitchell and Edna Jane Barker Mitchell; her siblings, Mary Etta Sahady and Charles Mitchell; and her husband Marvin Smith.
She is survived by: her sister Ruth Williams of Aurora, Colorado; her daughters, Suzanne Culp (Terry) of Salado and Pamela Smith of Salado; and her grandchildren, Randall Culp of Temple, Forrest Culp of Brighton, Preston Culp of Rainbow, Ryan Platt of Houston and Connor Platt of Katy. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Riley Funeral Home (402 W Main St, Hamilton, TX 76531). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel (402 W Main St, Hamilton, TX 76531).
