She was predeceased by : her husband William "Bill" Richards; her siblings, Omer, Jerry, Mary Basham, Pauline Stroud and Doris Armstrong; and her stepsiblings, Loretta Freeman and Billy Bob Freeman (Rita Nell Freeman).

She is survived by : her sister Brenda McCoy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
