He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Denham Goodman; his wife Mary Annette Kemp Goodman; his sons, Barnard T. Goodman, David P. Goodman and Spencer C. Goodman; and his sister Edith G. Frazier.
He is survived by: his father Joseph Goodman; and his daughter Marylee Goodman Johnson (Santford H. Johnson). He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
