He was predeceased by: his parents, Gayland G. Goodwin and Laurene Boyd Goodwin; and his parents-in-law, Mildred Thompson and David Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Evelyn Goodwin (Thompson) of San Angelo, TX.; his daughters, Carla Laurene Spurgers (Joshua) of San Angelo, TX and Regina "Gina" Renee Dillon (Goodwin) of Aurora, CO.; his grandchildren, Brenna Dillon of Aurora, CO and Oliver Dillon of Durango, CO.; his brother Kenneth; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Thompson of Abilene, TX. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Angel Flight South Central, Houston Ground Angels, Masonic Lodge 898, or Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 10.
